Names of Posts:
1. Machinist- 61 vacancies
2. Fitter General- 12 vacancies
3. Turner- 21 vacancies
4. Grinder- 03 vacancies
5. Millwright- 12 vacancies
6. Welder- 03 vacancies
7. Electrician – 05 vacancies
8. Fitter Electronics- 08 vacancies
9. Fitter Auto- 03 vacancies
10. Store Keeper- 23 vacancies
11. Durwan- 25 vacancies
12. Fireman- 09 vacancies
Age Limit: Candidates’ age must be between 18 years to 32 years for posts 1 to 9. For Store keeper, 18 to 27 years for Durwan, 20 to 27 years and for Fire man 18 to 25 years. Cutoff date for determining age limit would be 01-01-2012. (Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt. rules).
Educational Qualification: Candidates are asked to go through the notification for the details of required educational qualification.
Application Fee Details: Candidates need to pay Rs. 50/- in shape of IPO as exam fee/application fee. The IPO should be addressed to “General Manager, Small Arms Factory, Kalpi Road, Kanpur”. SC/ST/PH Candidates are not required to deposit any exam fee.
Selection Process: Selections of eligible candidates will be made on the basis performance in Written Test and Trade Test.
How to Apply: Candidates need to apply for the desired post only through online mode from Indian Ordinance Factories website on or before 09-04-2012. Candidates also need to take print of online application and send it to Indian Ordinance Factories Kanpur.

2. Fill all the marked details carefully, including fee payment details.
3. Click on ‘Submit’ button on or before 09-04-2012.
4. Take print of Application Form after submission.
5. Send it along with copies of all relevant certificates and fee payment receipt, to the following address, General Manager, Ordnance Factory, Kanpur-208009 (UP).
