The on-line test will be conducted from 16th April, 2012 to 22nd April, 2012 for all the disciplines stated at Required Disciplines menu and applicant is required to appear on any one day between 16th April, 2012 to 22nd April, 2012 in the following cities across India
Applicant is required to give preference of cities and dates for appearing in the online test between 16th April, 2012 to 22nd April, 2012 as per his/her convenience
While all efforts will be made to accommodate the preference of the applicants for the date and city, final allotment of date and city will depend on availability of seats on the preferred date and city
The details of date, time and venue address will be indicated in the admit card

Compensation Package
During training: Monthly Stipend Rs 20,000/-; one time Book Allowance Rs 5000/-; Mandatory Lodging (on nominal charge) and boarding - in NPCIL Hostels
On appointment: After successful completion of training, appointment will be as Scientific Officer (Group ‘A’) with following details
Pay Band-3; Rs 15600-39100/- plus grade pay Rs 5400/-
Additional two or three increments (each of 3% of Band Pay + Grade Pay) depending on performance during training program will also be admissible

Training and Placements: The selected applicants will be required to undergo one year orientation course training in any of the Nuclear Training Centres of NPCIL at Tarapur, Rawatbhata, Kalpakkam, Kaiga and Kudankulam
For successful completion of training, the applicants have to secure minimum 50% aggregate marks on completion of one year training.
Those trainees, who complete the one year orientation course training successfully will be appointed as Scientific Officer and posted at one of the units/sites/offices of NPCIL located at different parts of the country
The present locations include the following Headquarters at Mumbai (Maharashtra), Units/Sites at Tarapur (Maharashtra), Kakrapar (Gujarat), Rawatbhata (Rajasthan), Narora (Uttar Pradesh), Kaiga (Karnataka), Kalpakkam (Tamil Nadu), Kudankulam( Tamil Nadu), other upcoming projects and other offices located at various places
Bond: Selected applicants are required to execute an agreement and a personal indemnity bond for Rs 2,45,000/- (Rs two lakhs forty five thousand) to serve NPCIL for at least three years after completion of training (no third party surety is required)

At the time of interview, the applicants have to produce all original certificates for verification of date of birth, caste, disabilities, qualification, experience (if any) etc and certificate/authentic documents in original in support of any claim for relaxation of age, application fees along with attested copies of all such certificates/ documents (formats can be downloaded from downloads menu from the website)
No Applicant will be interviewed, if any of the required certificates/ documents are not produced
Applicants working in Central/State Govt/ PSUs /Aided Institutions should bring no objection certificate from the organisation without which they will not be allowed to appear for the interview
No travel expenses will be paid to any applicant for appearing for the online test
If Applicant is not interviewed due to not meeting the eligibility criteria or non production of the required documents including travel ticket etc no travelling expenses for coming for interview will be reimbursed

Applicants will be informed through email and SMS (if active mobile number provided) about the availability of the admit card online on the website. The time and venue of the on-line test will be available in the admit card. They can login through the Applicant Login and print the same. The applicant must carry a clearly printed admit card to the online test center, without which he/she will not be allowed to take up the online test
If the bank challan details have not been filled in correctly while applying online, admit card with roll no will not be generated. Please ensure that the name of applicant filled in Bank Challan form and online application are same
After the results of the online test are displayed in the website, the shortlisted applicants can login through the Applicant Login menu to print out the data filled in form. The applicants appearing for the interview should carry with them the following at the time of personal interview; one copy of the printout of the data filled in form; one attested copy of each of the certificates in support of educational qualification (both degree certificate and mark sheets), experience, caste etc
Neither printout of the data filled in form nor copy of any certificate should be sent before the interview
