Ministry of Defence Application is invited from eligible Indian National male candidates for filling up the vacancy as under :
(a) Post : Welder Group ‘C’

Educational Qualification for Welder Jobs in MOD 2012 : Matriculation or equivalent and ITI pass in the trade.
Welder Pay scale 2012 : Rupee 5200 – 20200 + 1900 Grade Pay.
2. Criteria of Application to MOD Welder Post 2012 :
(a) Age Limit for Welder Recruitment 2012 : ( on last day of receipt of MOD 2012 job application ) :
Unreserved : 18 to 25 years

Ex servicemen : 18 to 25 years + service rendered in Army, Air Force & Navy + 03 yrs.
3. Physical standard for the post of Welder Jobs 2012 :
Must be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties and must have passed the test specified as per Government rules below :
(a) Height without shoes – 165 cms ( Minimum )
(b) Chest ( Un – expanded ) – 81.5 cms
(c) Chest ( on expansion ) – 85 cms
(d) Weight – 50 Kg ( Minimum )
(e) Endurance Test :
Carrying a man fireman lift of 63.5 Kg to a distance of 183 meter within 96 seconds.
Clearing 2.7 meters wide ditch landing on both Feet (long jump).
Climbing 3 meters vertical rope using hands and feet.
4. The following tests are likely to be conducted for post of welder :
2400 Mtrs Running,
Sit ups,
Chin Ups,
Oral Test,
Technical Test,
Medical Test.
5. All test for the post of welder will be held on screening basis i.e. the candidate has to pass in the first test in order to be eligible for the second test and so on.
6. Candidates selected will be on probation for a period of two years.
7. Disqualification :
The following act / omission would render a candidate disqualified :
(a) Furnishing of false, inaccurate or tampered information or documents.
(b) Obtaining support of his candidature by any means.
(c) Submitting fabricated documents.
(d) Making statements which are incorrect or false or suppressing material information.
(e) Improper filling of application.
(f) Impersonation by any person.
8. Documents to be attached with the Ministry of Defence welder job application form 2012 :
(a) Affix recent passport size photograph facing camera, all photographs duty attested by any Gazetted Officer.
(b) One self – addressed envelope duly stamped with Rupee 25/- and Size 12×18 cms for despatch of acknowledgment / admit card in Registered post.
(c) Attested photocopies of the followings :
Birth certificate or Matric / Higher Secondary School Certificate or the equivalent of School leaving certificate or an affidavit from the court showing date of birth.
ITI certificate duly attested by gazetted officer.
Educational certificate duly attested by gazetted officer.
Current Employment Exchange Registration Card if held.
Any other documents relevant in support of information furnished in the MOD recruitment application form 2012.
(d) Any variation in the data written in hand by the applicant in the Ministry of Defence job application form, with the attached documents and failure to meet the requirements given above will make the applicant liable for rejection.
9. The candidates who fulfill the above requirements may apply to the following address as per format appended below along with Photostat copies of testimony and a self – addressed envelope duly affixed with Rupee 25/- stamp within 21 days from the date of publication of MOD advertisement 2012 in Employment Newspaper ( Dated on 21 – 27th January 2012 ).

No MOD Jobs 2012 applications will be accepted and no admission card will be forwarded after expiry of last date of receipt of Ministry of Defence Vacancy application form 2012.
10. Candidate applying for the post will endorse his category i.e. ” Unreserved / Ex – servicemen ” & post applied for on the envelope.
11. Candidate will produce his original documents at the time of MOD recruitment otherwise they will not be allowed to appear in recruitment.
12. No TA / DA will be paid to the candidates for Ministry of Defence recruitment test 2012. They have to make their own arrangements for boarding / lodging.
13. MOD Welder Vacancy Application can also be handed over by the applicants at Main Gate of 199 Petroleum Platoon ASC from 1000 hr to 1300 hr.
14. 199 Petroleum Platoon ASC will not be responsible for any injury to any applicant during welder recruitment test.
15. Working place of the selected candidates will be 199 Petroleum Platoon ASC ( located opposite ” Rawant Singh Ki Dhani ” ) which comes under Ministry of Defence.
16. Directions given in the Advertisement are liable to change. Hence these be considered only as general guidelines.
17. If Ministry of Defence call letter has not been received by an applicant then it is likely that his application has been rejected for reasons such as Application not received / late received / rejected or lost in post and no correspondences in this connection will be entertained.
18. Any dispute with regards to the MOD Welder Jobs 2012 will be subject to jurisdiction of Jaisalmer Court only.
