Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Examination 2012 vacancy details are given below:

Educational qualification: To apply for Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Examination 2012 candidate must have Master’s Degree or equivalent in the concerned subject with specialization completed on or before 31.10.2012.

Date of Exam: on 24-02-2013 (Sunday) from 02.00 pm to 04.00 pm and on 23.06.2013 (Sunday) from 10.00 am to 01.00 pm

How to apply for Agricultural Scientist Recruitment Board, New Delhi:
Candidates can obtain the online application form available on the from ICAR/ ASRB website. Fill all the necessary details and send the application form in an envelope to The Secretary, Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board, Krishi Anusandhan Bhavan, Pusa Road, New Delhi-110012. Please mention “Application for ARS Examination– 2012″ along with Preliminary Examination Center, Code No., ARS Examination Discipline and Code No. on an envelope in bold letters.

Application fee: the applications fee is 480 +20 registration fee for General and OBC candidates. No fee for Women candidates/ SC/ST/Physically Challenged categories however they have to pay 20 as a registration charges.

Important Exam dates about Agricultural Scientist Recruitment Board, New Delhi :
- ARS Preliminary Examination 2012: 24.02.2013 (Sunday) from 02.00 pm to 04.00 pm
- ARS Main Examination 2012: 23.06.2013 (Sunday) from 10.00 am to 01.00 pm.

Examination pattern for Agricultural Research Service Examination 2012
Preliminary ARS Examination Paper shall have one paper of 150 marks with all objective questions, duration of the exam will be 2 hours (Two hours). 1/3 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer in Prelim ARS Examination (Objective Type)
Agricultural Research Service Main Examination Paper will have only one paper of 240 marks. Total duration of the exam will be 3 hours.

Viva : Candidates who have passed ARS Main Examination will be called for Viva of 60 marks.
